Configuring an interface to use an external captive portal

To configure an interface:
  1. Go to Network > Interfaces.
  2. Select Create New > Interface.

    The New Interface window opens.

  3. Enter a name for the interface. Optionally, enter an alias.
  4. In Type, select 802.3ad Aggregate.
  5. In the Role dropdown, select LAN.
  6. In the Address pane:
    1. In Addressing mode, select Manual.
    2. In IP/Netmask, enter an IP address/netmask for the interface.
    3. In IPv6 addressing mode, select Manual.
    4. Disable Create address object matching subnet.
  7. In the Network pane:
    1. Enable Device detection.
    2. Enable Security mode, and from the dropdown, select Captive Portal.
    3. In Authentication portal, select External, and enter the captive portal URL.
    4. The captive portal URL points to samlsp/[saml-sp-name]/login/ where [saml-sp-name] is the remote SAML server name in creating a remote SAML server.

    5. Optionally, in User access, select Restricted to Groups, and then select groups for User Groups.
  8. Click OK.
