Limitations of FortiClient Cloud

Note

You can use FortiClient Cloud to manage and provision up to 500 FortiClient endpoints. You must use an on-premise EMS to manage more than 500 endpoints.

This section lists the features currently available in FortiClient Cloud:

  • Fabric Telemetry
  • Antivirus real time protection
  • Remote access (IPsec and SSL VPN)
  • Sandbox Protection
  • Web Filter
  • Application Firewall
  • Software Inventory
  • SSO

This section lists the features currently unavailable in FortiClient Cloud:

  • Cloud-based threat detection
  • Anti-exploit engine
  • USB device control
  • Vulnerability management
  • Active Directory integration
  • Chromebook support
  • EMS Fabric connector with FortiOS (Support is planned for a future release.)

To use these features, use an on-premise EMS instead of FortiClient Cloud.
