AWS Marketplace Subscription Troubleshooting

When the FortiCloud Account failed to be associated with the AWS Marketplace Subscription, you will see a red banner when log into FortiCNP.

The banner all begins with the same error: "Failed to associate this FortiCloud account with AWS Marketplace Subscription (Monthly Consumption or Annual Contract)"

There are a total of 4 types of scenarios that cause the association to fail between the FortiCloud account and the AWS Marketplace Subscription.

Failed Association Scenarios and Solutions

Failed Association Scenario Solution
The AWS Marketplace Subscription is already associated with another FortiCloud Account. Use another AWS account and go through AWS Marketplace Subscription again.
The FortiCloud Account is already associated with an AWS Marketplace Subscription.

Only one AWS Marketplace Subscription is allowed for one FortiCloud account.

Contact FortiCNP Techincal Support to identify the AWS account associated with this FortiCloud account, or register for a new FortiCloud Account here.

The FortiCloud account user is not using the Global Admin Profile.

Only users with Global Admin Profile can associate AWS Marketplace Subscription with a FortiCloud account.

Assign the user with the Global Admin Profile and try again.

FortiCNP Base Annual Subscription is not selected when subscribing to Annual Contract Subscription

It appears that 0 is selected for base Annual Contract subscription, please select 1.

Contact FortiCNP Techincal Support to identify the AWS account associated with this FortiCloud account, or register for a new FortiCloud Account here.

The FortiCloud account user is not using the Global Admin Profile.

Only users with Global Admin Profile can associate AWS Marketplace Subscription with a FortiCloud account.

Assign the user with the Global Admin Profile and try again.
