Cloud Protection Service Usage

Service Usage can be accessed through Global Settings > Company

The Contract under different license plans (Cloud Protection, Data Protection, Container Protection) represents the number of virtual machines used and the total number of virtual machines available.

For example, 25/100 represents 25 virtual machines are being added to Cloud Protection, and there are a total of 100 virtual machines available. Therefore, there is still 75 virtual machines allowance. Cloud Protection usage within the Contract allowance will be covered with no extra charge.

Cloud Protection Extra Usage occurs when the number of VMs added to Cloud Protection or the amount of data scanned by Data Protection exceeded the contract allowance. The extra usage at the end of the month for both monthly subscription and annual contract users.

For example, when Contract usage is at 100/100 and Extra Usage is at 25, means that 25 more VMs are being added to Cloud Protection for the current month. The Extra Usage always reflect the maximum number of extra VMs that are being added to Cloud Protection for the current month. The Extra Usage is then reset at the end of the month.

Data Protection Extra Usage occurs when the amount of cloud storage data scanned has exceeded the allowance.

For example, if the contract usage is 100 GB, and the data scan has exceeded 100 GB, any data being scanned after 100 GB will be counted as extra usage.
