Associated Resources View

Associated Resources is a top down graphical view of all cloud resources of the cloud accounts.

The benefit of viewing all associated resources in a map view:

  • Help administrators quickly understand infrastructures the monitored cloud accounts with ease.
  • Display relationship between the cloud resource instances and services.

Access Associated Resources View

  1. Go to INSIGHTS > Risk > Resource tab and click on any resource.
  2. The resource will be drilled into the Resource Detail page and see Associated Resources tab.
  3. Zoom in by scroll forward with a mouse to see the Region (Amazon/Azure) / Project (Google Cloud) and the cloud resources under that region or project.
  4. Click on Resource Detail to see all cloud resources under the specific EC2 instance, Subnet, etc.
  5. Click Traffic to view the cloud network traffic within in EC2 instance or Virtual Machine.

All virtual networks under the account as well as all the subnets virtual machine instances are shown in one graphical view.

The hierarchical resource map illustrates the infrastructure relationship and network topology in separate layers.

The scope options can be distributed to three levels. The resource name is the account nick name setup during installation.
