Configuring an avatar for a custom device

You can upload an avatar for a custom device. FortiOS displays the avatar in the GUI wherever it lists the device, such as FortiView, log viewer, or policy configuration.

To configure an avatar for a custom device:
  1. Go to User & Device > Custom Devices & Groups.
  2. Create a new device or edit an existing device.
  3. Click Upload Image or Capture Image. The image can be in any format that your browser supports. FortiOS automatically sizes the image to 36 x 36 pixels for use in the GUI.
