Change note is mandatory for every object and policy change 7.0.2

Starting in FortiManager 7.0.2, change notes are mandatory for every object and policy change.

To create a change note in policy and objects:
  1. Go to Policy & Objects.
  2. When creating or editing an address, entering a change note under Revision > Change Note is mandatory. This setting can be modified through the CLI.

    After the address is created or edited, you can see the change under the Revision History column on the address list page.
  3. When creating or editing a policy, entering a change note under Revision > Change Note is mandatory. This setting can be modified through the CLI.

    After the policy is created or edited, you can see the change under the Revision History column on the policy list page.
To configure revision history in the CLI:
  1. In the FortiManager CLI, enter the following commands:

    config system global

    set object-revision-db-max: 100000

    set object-revision-mandatory-note: enable

    set object-revision-object-max: 100

    set object-revision-status: enable
