Using labels in policies and objects

After you configure a fabric connector to Guardicore and retrieve labels, you can use the labels in policies and objects. Using labels in policies and objects requires the following steps:

  1. In FortiManager, go to Policy & Objects, and enable Universal Connector MEA. See Enabling Universal Connector MEA in Policy & Objects.

Communication between FortiManager and Universal Connector MEA is enabled, and the labels from Universal Connector MEA are automatically imported to FortiManager.

  2. Select labels in policies and objects. See Selecting labels in policies and objects.
  3. Add the policies and objects to policy packages, and install the policy packages to FortiGates. See Installing labels to FortiGates.

The labels from Guardicore Centra are installed to FortiGates. FortiManager works with Guardicore Centra to provide the latest information to FortiGates.
