Run a script
You can select to enable automatic script execution or create a recurring schedule for the script (see Schedule a script).
To run a script:
- Go to Device Manager > Scripts.
- Select a script then click Run Script in the toolbar, or right-click on a script and select Run Script.
Scripts can also be re-run from the script execution history by selecting the run button. See Script history for information.
The Run Script dialog box will open. This dialog box will vary depending on the script target. You will either be able to select a device or devices, or a policy package.
- Select a device group, devices, or a policy package.
- Click Run Now to run the script.
The progress of the operation will be shown, providing information on its success or failure.
Scripts can also be run directly on a device using the right-click menu in Device Manager > Device & Groups. |
To run a script on the Global Database ADOM:
- Ensure you are in the global database ADOM.
- Go to Policy & Objects > Scripts. If it is not visible, enable it in the Feature Visibility (Feature visibility).
- Select a script then click Run Script in the toolbar, or right-click on a script and select Run Script. The Run Script dialog box will open.
- Select the policy package from the dropdown list.
- Click Run Script to run the script.
The progress of the operation will be shown, providing information on its success or failure.
