Step 2: Copy Virtual Hard Drive

Each appliance requires its own Virtual Machine and its own license. If multiple appliances were purchased, make a copy of the .vhd file downloaded and rename it for each Virtual Machine required. Make sure all of the .vhd files are on the Hyper-V Server.

When naming the vhd files, keep in mind that you will also be naming the associated virtual machine and you will be assigning a host name when configuring FortiNAC server. If you have more than one virtual machine, it may be beneficial to use similar names for the virtual hard drive, the virtual machine and the host name of the FortiNAC server.
