What’s new in FortiOS 7.0.4

The following list contains new managed FortiSwitch features added in FortiOS 7.0.4:

  • Administrators no longer need to upload the FortiSwitch firmware for automatic provisioning when switches are authorized by FortiLink Now administrators can configure the managed FortiSwitch units to be automatically upgraded to the latest FortiSwitchOS version available in FortiGuard when the switches are authorized by FortiLink.

  • The Managed FortiSwitches page now displays the full FortiSwitch model name. For example, FortiSwitch 1024D is now displayed in the Managed FortiSwitches page, instead of FS1D24.

  • When you define the dynamic port policy rules for a dynamic port policy, you can now specify that a rule matches a specific hardware vendor before the switch controller changes the portʼs properties.
