CFTs and connecting to FortiGates

With CFTs, you can simplify the deployment process. These templates are available on the Fortinet Solutions GitHub repo.

These templates are organized into different folders based on the FortiOS version. Once you select a FortiOS version, four templates are available based on the license type and if the deployment creates a new VPC or references an existing VPC.

The following A-P HA templates are currently available in the repo's FortiOS 6.0 folder:

These templates not only deploy AWS infrastructure but also bootstrap the FortiGate instances with the relevant network and A-P HA configuration to support the VPC. Most of this information is gathered as parameters in the templates when a stack is deployed. These parameters are organized into these main groups:
