What’s new in FortiDevice 25.1.b
Release 25.1.b provides the following new features:

In the Add Scan dialog, you can now specify an owner of the scanned assets (for all scan types).

In the Add Scan dialog, you can now select how vCenter/ESXi VMs are processed (for standard scans only). You can choose to have all VMs merged in the authentication scan report or for the VMs to be reported as standalone assets in the authentication scan report.

A new Actions dropdown menu in the Assets page allows you to do the following:

Delete assets

Add or delete tags

Add or remove the asset owner

Export the data JSON format

Export the data in CSV format

The Asset Details page now displays the name of the last scan performed.

A new Change History tab on the Asset Details page shows all changes made to the asset, such as changes to the MAC and IP addresses. In addition, you can now search in the asset change history, either by type of change or by the change value.

When the asset type is a hypervisor, the Asset Details tab in the Asset Details page now shows a tree view of the VMs.

You can view system notifications, such as FortiDevice upgrades and new FortiDevice releases, by clicking on a new icon at the top of the FortiDevice window.

You can now specify how long event log entries are kept. Once every 12 hours, event log entries are checked, and the expired event log entries are removed. The number of removed event log entries is recorded in the event log.

You can now specify how long the console will remain active.

In the new API Key page, you can see a list of API keys, generate a new API key, and delete API keys.

The Users page has been enhanced with three new tabs:

The Administrators page allows you to view a list of administrators, export the list of administrators, and to search within the list of administrators.

The Owners page allows you to add, edit, import, export, and delete asset owners.

The Owner Groups page allows you to add, edit, copy, and delete groups of asset owners.
