FortiEdge Cloud will no longer support multi-tenancy license extensions after December 31, 2026. Any multi-tenancy license extended will have its expiration date set to December 31, 2026, regardless of the start date. If you currently use multi-tenancy feature, you must now transition to use the FortiCloud Organization feature for managing multiple entities within FortiEdge Cloud. See FortiCloud Organization. |
Mandatory FortiSwitch Firmware Upgrade
Some deployed FortiSwitch devices are currently running outdated firmware versions. These outdated versions will experience compatibility issues with the upcoming renewal of the FortiEdge Cloud controller backend SSL certificates.
To ensure uninterrupted service and avoid potential network disruptions, it is critical that all the affected switches be upgraded to version 7.0.3 or later as soon as possible. This ensures compatibility with the new SSL certificates and prevents management overhead.

Devices not upgraded by August 1, 2026 will lose Cloud connectivity. Beyond this date, remote management will be disabled, and firmware must be updated manually via a local connection. |
To avoid any unexpected outages or inconvenience, we strongly encourage you to take immediate action and schedule the upgrade at your earliest convenience.
