Note

All built-in modems can be upgraded with compatible, wireless service provider-specific modem firmware.

FortiExtender 211E, 101F, 201F, 202F, 212F, 311F, 511F, and FortiExtenderVehicle 211F devices come with a Bluetooth button that activates the Bluetooth radio. The Bluetooth radio is turned off by default to prevent unauthorized access. When it is turned on, any nearby device can attempt to connect.

Fortinet recommends always securing your FortiExtender by setting a strong admin password and disabling Bluetooth when not in use. Only press the Bluetooth button when you are ready to pair a device. Do not leave a FortiExtender in pairing mode unattended.
