Overview
This document provides guidance on creating and installing a customized Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) for the Captive Portal.
The Terms of Use Policy (also known as Usage Policy or Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)) can be customized using the Content Editor in the FortiNAC Administration UI. The details can be entered as text in the Usage Policy Contents field. In some cases, however, it may be desired to provide a separate page to display the terms. Instead of developing a page using HTML, this can be done through the use of a PDF file.
What it Does
The steps in this document provide the following end user experience:

A client isolated in the registration VLAN opens their browser and is presented with instructions to click a hot link to review the Usage Policy.

When the link is clicked, the customized Usage Policy PDF is displayed in a separate browser tab for viewing.

Once the user clicks the “Agree” button, they are redirected to the Login Menu where they can proceed with the registration process.
