Settings | Guidelines |
---|---|
Address | IP address or FQDN of an SMTP server (such as FortiMail) or email server that the appliance can connect to in order to send alerts and/or generated reports. |

Security |
STARTTLS is an extension to plain text communication protocols. It enables a plain text connection to be upgraded to an encrypted (TLS or SSL) connection instead of using a separate port for encrypted communication. SMTPS is not supported by FortiADC, so if you want to build up secure connections with FortiADC, STARTTLS can work as an substitution to SMTPS. |
Username | Username for authentication to the SMTP server. |
Password | Password for authentication to the SMTP server. |
