Add Docker Hub Registry Example
There are two parts to add the Docker Hub Registry:
The first part is assigning permission to the repositories in Docker Hub account.
The second part is adding the Docker Hub repositories to Container Proteciton
- Log into Docker Hub with the administrator account.
- Go to Organizations and select "forticwpresarch" namespace.
- In the "forticwpresearch" namespace, click on the Teams tab, then select the team "guest".
- In team "guest", select Permissions tab to access Repository Permissions.
- Add all repositories with Read-only permission.
- Log into FortiCWP > Container Protection. From navigation menu, go to CONFIGURE > Registry, click +ADD NEW and select Docker Hub.
- Enter the Organization Name: "forticwpresearch".
- Enter the Repository: "mypri", "mypub", and "no_tag_repo".
- Select a Kubernetes Cluster to scan the images.
- Select the Docker Hub User from Credential Store (The team member that was configured earlier)
- Give a name for the registry: "DockerHub_Test"
- Click Add Registry to finish adding the repositories to the registry.
Now go back to Container Protection to add the repositories.
