Setting up Network IP configuration

Setting up Network IP configuration

Log in into the device from the console using the default username and password (admin/admin). Setup a new password and log in into the device using the new credentials.


  • Configure IP - Run the set interface ipv4 command to configure the IPv4 address of the management network interface (IPv4 address), netmask, and gateway address.
  • Configure FQDN - Run the set system fqdn command to configure the hostname.
  • Configure time zone - Run the set system timezone command to interactively configure the time zone.
  • Configure date - Run the set system date command to configure the date in the YYYY-MM-DD format.
  • Configure NTP - Run the set system ntp command to configure the NTP server.
