Password Policy
The Password Policy tab provides options for setting the password policy of a realm.
To set the Password Policy of a realm:

Click Settings > Realm.

Select the realm.

Click Password Policy.

Set the password policy as described in the following table.

Click Apply Changes.

Minimum Length for Password |
Set the minimum length of passwords in the number of characters. |

Must Contain Upper Case |
If enabled, passwords must contain upper-case letters. Note: The option is enabled by default. |

Must Contain Lower Case |
If enabled, passwords must contain lower-case letters. Note: The option is enabled by default. |
|
Must Contain Number |
If enabled, passwords must contain numbers. Note: The option is enabled by default. |
|
Must Contain Special Character |
If enabled, passwords must contain special characters. Note: The option is enabled by default. |
|
Password Never Expires |
If enabled, passwords will never expire. Note: This option is disabled by default. |
|
Password Expiry Days |
Set the number of days after which passwords will expire. |
|
Password History Count |
Set the umber of unique, previous passwords the system will remember to prevent users from reusing those old passwords. |
|
Password Expiration Notice Template |
The template that the system uses to send out password expiration notices. Note: No action required. |
