FortiIsolator version 2.4.3 includes the following new features:

Log message enhancements

FortiIsolator 2.4.3 includes the following enhancements to log messages under the Log tab:

  • You can now configure FortiIsolator to send the log messages to FortiAnalyzer for display, processing, or reporting. Note that FortiIsolator will no longer display the logs under the log categories after it is configured to send log messages to FortiAnalyzer.

  • The logs are now categorized into Traffic and Events, with sub-categories of Antivirus and Web Filter under Traffic. All the following tab options at the top of the log page are now removed:

    • FORTIGUARD AGENT

    • ISOLATOR

    • CRON

    • ACCESS LOG

    • DAEMON

    • ADMIN GUI

    • SECURE

  • For each log message, more columns of information are displayed to provide more relevant context for troubleshooting.

  • A new Alert option is added to the Level filter. Below is a complete list of options under the Level filter:

    • Alert

    • Error

    • Critical

    • Warning

    • Notice

    • Info

    • Debug

Configure login option when guest is disabled in default policy

When configuring the default policy, if Guest Type is guest disable, you can now use the new Login Option option to further configure the type of credentials allowed for the user to log in:

  • Local User or SAML User—Allow the user to log in using a local user account or SAML credentials.
  • SAML User—Allow the user to log in using the SAML credentials only. Local user account are not allowed.
