Checking RAID from command line
Use command line to check if your device uses hardware or software RAID.
To check RAID type from the command line:
- Go to System Settings.
- Click CLI Console.
- Type the command
diagnose system raid status
and press Enter. - The following information is shown in the output:
- Mega RAID - this output shows that the device uses hardware RAID.
- Software RAID - this output shows that the device uses software RAID.
Sample command line output showing hardware RAID:
