Restore database entries when upgrading from FortiPortal 5.3.6 or later

If the system was upgraded from 5.3.6 or later, run the tool to restore database backup entries.

To restore database entries when upgrading from 5.3.6 and later:
  1. Contact your Fortinet support channel to obtain the after_upgrade.sh restore tool.
  2. Run the restore tool on a Linux machine.
  3. Enter IP address, port, and credentials to the database.

    For example:

    fpc@fpc-virtual-machine:~/Desktop$ sh after_upgrade.sh

    -e Warning: This script only works for 5.2.6+ upgrade to 5.3.x OR 5.3.6+ upgrade to 6.0.x.

    -e This script should be run after .out image is uploaded successfully.

    Enter SQL DB IP/HOST: 172.18.26.132

    Enter SQL DB PORT: 3306

    Enter SQL DB USERNAME: fpc

    Enter SQL DB PASSWORD: fpc
