Route

Route

The Route dropdown on the Security > Network tab displays a list of static routes.

Configuring static routes

Adding a new static route

  1. Select Static Route from the Route dropdown.
  2. Select Create to create a new static route.
  3. Enter values in the relevant fields. See Static route fields.
  4. Select Save.

Updating a static route

  1. Select Static Route from the Route dropdown.
  2. Select a static route and then select Edit.
  3. Update the values that have changed.
  4. Select Save.

Deleting a static route

  1. Select Static Route from the Route dropdown.
  2. Select a static route and then select Delete.

Static route fields

The Create Static Router and Edit Static Router dialog contain the following fields:

Destination

Required. Select Subnet or Named Address for the destination type.

  • If Subnet is selected, enter destination IP address and netmask.
  • If Named Address is selected, select from the dropdown.

Gateway

Required. Enter an IPv4 address for the next hop.

Note: This options is not available when SD-WAN Interface is enabled.

SDWAN Interface

Enable SD-WAN interface.

SDWAN Zones

From the dropdown, select an SD-WAN zone.

Note: This options is available when SD-WAN Interface is enabled.

Interface

Required. Select the network interface that connects to the gateway from the dropdown.

Note: This options is not available when SD-WAN Interface is enabled.

Distance

Required. Enter the distance. The default is 10. The maximum is 255.

Priority

Required. Enter the priority. The default is 0. The maximum is 4294967295.

Note: This options is not available when SD-WAN Interface is enabled.

Comments

Optional. Enter a description of the static route. The value is a string with a maximum of 255 characters.

Status

Enable or disable the static route.

Route
