    This section highlights some of the operational changes that administrators should be aware of in FortiProxy 7.2.15.

    SAML certificate verification

    Starting from FortiProxy 7.0.22, 7.2.15, 7.4.11, and 7.6.4, FortiProxy verifies the signature for SAML response messages. You must turn on the relevant option in the corresponding IDP settings. For example, for Microsoft Entra ID, you must select the Sign SAML response and assertion certificate signing option (see Certificate signing options in a SAML token). Lack of signature for signing response messages or assertions may cause authentication to fail.
