Playbook Assets
This page allows you to view and create Playbook global variables and event templates. From the Playbook Assets left pane, select Global Variables or Event Templates.
Global Variables
A global variable can be declared once, and used across all playbooks. This page allows you to create, edit, delete global variables, and view all existing global variables.
Creating a Global Variable
To create a global variable, take the following steps.

Click + Create New to create a new global variable.

In the Variable Name field, enter the name of the global variable.

In the Field Value field, enter the field value.

(Optional) In the Default Value field, enter the default value.

When done, click Save.

Event Templates
An event template defines events that trigger playbooks. This page allows you to create, edit, delete event templates, and view all existing event templates.
Creating an Event Template
To create an event template, click + Create New Event Template, then take the following steps.

In the Event Template Name field, enter the name for the event template.

In the Event Identifier field, enter the event ID.

Check/uncheck the Set as Default Event checkbox to designate whether the template is used as the default event.

Click + Add Event Description, and enter a description in the Description field.

Add/view sample events by clicking on View Sample Events

Expand Configure Filter Criteria to add filter conditions.

Toggle on/off Enable to configure periodic event polling.

Expand Batch Processing (Looping) to configure Execution Preference (Single Execution for Entire Dataset or Execute in Batches (enter Size).

When done, click Create.
Viewing Event Templates
All existing event templates are displayed here. To edit an exiting event template, select it from the table, make your changes, then click Save. To delete an event template, select it, then click the Trash icon.
