Adding devices
After you add a device group, you can add devices to this group.
To add a device:
- Click Add Device.
- Configure the following settings:
- Click OK, and a window pops up showing the progress of adding a device. Wait for around one minute until it is finished.
- After the device is added, you can see it in the device list of the group.
- To enter into the Web GUI of this device, click the device name, or check the box before the device name, then click Launch Web GUI.
- To export the CLI config file of this device, check the box before the device name, then click Export CLI Template.
- To add variables, click the device name, then click the Edit icon beside the "Variable List" at the right side frame.
You are recommended to add devices with similar configurations to a same group. |
For the username, you are recommended to use admin user or the user available to all permissions of the device. |
