Connecting to the FortiNDR VM GUI

You connect to the FortiNDR VM GUI via a web browser by entering the IP address assigned to the port 1 interface. Ensure HTTPS access and administrative access are enabled on the interface.

Enter https:// before the IP address. Some web browsers might display a warning that the connection is not private. You can ignore the warning and continue to the website.

On the FortiNDR VM GUI log-in screen, enter the default username admin and then click Login. A default password is not assigned to the admin user.

Fortinet strongly recommends that you configure a password for the admin user as soon as you log in to the FortiNDR VM GUI.
