Testing connectivity

To power on the FortiNDR VM, use one of the following methods:

In the inventory list, select the name of the FortiNDR VM and then in the Getting Started tab, click Power on the virtual machine.
In the inventory list, right-click the name of the FortiNDR VM and click Power > Power On.
Select the name of the FortiNDR VM and click Power On in the toolbar.

To test connectivity to other devices, use ping <IP address>.

Before using FortiNDR VM in production, verify the connections between FortiNDR VM and all required resources.

Verify that FortiNDR VM can connect to your Internet access point and to resources on the internet, including connecting to FDS.
If the FortiNDR VM is part of a Fortinet Security Fabric, verify that it can connect to all devices in the Security Fabric.
