Applying a policy to a folder
To apply a policy to a folder:
- Go to the folder in Folder.
- Either select Current Folder to edit the folder and skip to step 6, or from the Create dropdown, select Folder.
When creating a new folder, the Create New Folder in: dialog appears.
- Select a location for the folder and then select Create Folder.
- Enter the name of the folder.
- From the Parent Folder dropdown, select a folder.
- Enable Inherit Policy, so that the folder follows the parent folder policy.
You cannot inherit policy for a root folder.
If Inherit Policy is disabled, from the Secret Policy dropdown, select a policy profile.
Select Create to create a new secret policy. See Creating a policy.
Use the search bar to look up a policy.
Use the pen icon next to a policy to edit it.
- Click Submit.
