Deploying FortiPortal on AWS

You can deploy FortiPortal-VMs on the AWS Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2). You must have an Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) account prior to deploying the VM.

With BYOL licensing, deploying FortiPortal on AWS consists of the following steps:

1. Setting up the database on Amazon RDS
2. Initial deployment
3. Connecting to FortiPortal
4. Registering FortiPortal-VM and uploading a valid license
5. Rebooting or shutting down FortiPortal AWS
6. Creating an IAM role for CloudWatch agent
