Upgrading the Aggregator

Upgrading the Aggregator

The required upgrade file is provided to you by Fortinet. Use it to perform the procedure below.

  1. Copy the FortiEDRInstaller_x.x.x.xxx.x file to the Aggregator machine. You can place the file anywhere on the Linux machine. For example, FortiEDRInstaller_5.2.0.x.y.
  2. Change the chmod 755 permission and the patch name in order to enable you to run the upgrade, as shown below:

    [root@dan ~]# chmod 755 FortiEDRInstaller_5.2.0.x.y

  3. Run the patch, as shown below:

    [root@dan ~]# ./ FortiEDRInstaller_5.2.0.x.y

  4. Wait for the upgrade to complete, as shown below:

    FortiEDR installation 5.2.0.x.y finished successfully

    [root@dan ~]#
