Using the FortiFone App Tray

You can use the FortiFone App Tray to open, reset, and quit FortiFone softclient. You can also save the FortiFone logs.

When resetting FortiFone softclient, you may choose to backup the current configuration. When restarting FortiFone softclient, you may choose to restore a saved configuration. For more information, see Configuring general settings.

To use the App Tray
  1. Start FortiFone softclient.
  2. On MS Windows OS, go to the system tray at the bottom right corner of the screen. On Apple macOS, go to the menu bar at the top right corner of the screen.
  3. Right-click the FortiFone icon.
