CLI Reference

ha ignore-hardware-revision

ha ignore-hardware-revision

Use this command to allow FortiGates of different hardware revisions of the same model form a cluster. In some cases different hardware versions have different amounts of physical memory and this may prevent the FortiGates from forming a cluster. If you enter this command the FortiGates in the cluster will also revert to use the same amount of memory as the FortiGate with the lowest amount of memory, allowing them to form a cluster.

Syntax

To view ignore-hardware-revision status

execute ha ignore-hardware-revision status

To set ignore-hardware-revision status

execute ha ignore-hardware-revision {enable | disable}
