External Sponsor/Admin Server Authentication

You can configure FortiGuest for authentication against a backend server. This includes both CP and WPA2 Enterprise.

Configure a RADIUS Client. Navigate to Devices > RADIUS Clients. See section RADIUS Clients.
Configure an Authentication Policy. The authentication policy is what the FortiGuest checks for an authentication request against a set of rules. Based on these rules, a user is mapped to its respective Account Group and Usage Profile. Navigate to Network Access Policies > Authentication Policies. See section Authentication Policies.

FortiGuest processes an incoming user authentication request based on the configurations described in this section.
