Step 2: Install Certificate in FortiNAC

Upload both the private key and the certificate created in previous steps.

  1. Log in to the FortiNAC Administration UI.

  2. Navigate to System > Certificate Management.

  3. Navigate to the Server Certificates view:

  4. Click on the Upload Certificates button and select New Remote API Target.

  5. Create a new Remote API target with the alias mistune.

  6. Upload the Private Key and the corresponding Certificate(s).

  7. Verify that the new Remote API [msintune] target was added successfully.

    Note: The "Thumbprint" in the MSInTune Certificates & Secrets view is the SHA-1 fingerprint of the certificate. This should match the SHA-1 fingerprint displayed in the Certificate Details in FortiNAC. Double click the msintune alias or select the alias and click Details button to view.
