Configuring a user group
To configure a user group:
- Go to User Management > User Groups.
- Select Create to create a new user group.
The Create New User Group window opens.
- In Name, enter
Forti-Admin
. - In Type, select Remote.
- In Remote Groups:
- Select Create to create a remote group.
- In Remote Server, select WindowsAD LDAP server.
- In Filters, ensure that Group is selected and then search for Administrators group.
- Click OK.
Using filters, we have restricted the scope to the Administrators user group on the WindowsAD remote LDAP server.
A group named
CN=Administrators,CN=Builtin,DC=FORTI-ARBUTUS,DC=LOCAL
is selected.
- Click OK.
