Configuring a user group

Configuring a user group

To configure a user group:
  1. Go to User Management > User Groups.
  2. Select Create to create a new user group.

    The Create New User Group window opens.

  3. In Name, enter Forti-Admin.
  4. In Type, select Remote.
  5. In Remote Groups:
    1. Select Create to create a remote group.
    2. In Remote Server, select WindowsAD LDAP server.
    3. In Filters, ensure that Group is selected and then search for Administrators group.
    4. Click OK.

      Using filters, we have restricted the scope to the Administrators user group on the WindowsAD remote LDAP server.

      A group named CN=Administrators,CN=Builtin,DC=FORTI-ARBUTUS,DC=LOCAL is selected.

  6. Click OK.

    4. Click OK.

  6. Click OK.
