Creating Account
To create a new user account, navigate to Accounts > Create Account in the FortiGuest GUI and provide the following user details. The options available to create a user account are as per the configured Policy Details.
- The Username of the account.
- The First Name and the Last Name of the user.
- The Password Generation Mode. You can allow the admin to set the password (Admin specified password) or enableFortiGuest to generate a password automatically (Auto generated password). when the password is admin specified, it must match the password complexity configured in Password Policy.
- The Password to access the user account. The password must contain at least 2 characters, 2 numbers and 1 symbol (!$^()-_=+{}[];:@#~,<>?).
- The Company or organization of the user.
- The user Email address.
- The Mobile Number of the user.
- Select the associated Account Group and Usage Profile.
