UI

The ui field is in every FortiMail log message where either:

  • type=kevent

  • type=event

It indicates how the user is connected.

Field Value

Description

  • ui=GUI(192.168.1.10)

  • ui=http(192.168.1.10)

  • ui=https(192.168.1.10)

GUI (HTTP or HTTPS).

  • ui=console
  • ui=cli-console

  • ui=RESTAPI(192.168.1.10)

  • ui=ssh(192.168.1.10)

  • ui=telnet(192.168.1.10))

CLI (either the local serial or terminal server connection, CLI Console widget in the GUI, or network connection (REST API, SSH, or Telnet))

  • ui=ntpd

    (name of the daemon)

Some daemon operations, where there is not any associated administrator session.

(empty)

Some system operations such as startup, where there is not yet any associated administrator session nor daemon.
