Client IP address
The client_ip field is in FortiMail log messages where either:

type=statistics -
type=spam -
type=virus
except for messages about quarantine access.
The field indicates the SMTP client's IP address. This could be an email user's software, a mail relay, or a mail server.
This field is empty if the log message is not recorded during an SMTP session, such as for log messages about the FortiSandbox scan queue.
