Message

The msg field is in all FortiMail log messages except where type=statistics. Length and contents vary by the cause of the event, but msg usually contains extra details that are not in other fields.

Each time that a similar event occurs, the details in msg can be different.To find all events with the same root cause, don't search for a matching msg. Instead, see Log ID.
