Pushing configuration information to FortiClient

Pushing configuration information to FortiClient

After the endpoints' FortiClient connects FortiClient Telemetry to FortiClient EMS, the endpoints are managed, and you can use FortiClient EMS to push configuration information to FortiClient software on endpoints.

To push configuration information to FortiClient:
  1. Edit an existing profile or create a new profile to configure FortiClient software on endpoints. See Creating profiles to configure FortiClient.
  2. Assign profiles to domains and workgroups to deploy FortiClient on endpoints. See Assigning profiles.

After the profile is assigned to endpoints, its changes are pushed to endpoints with the next Telemetry communication.

  3. Monitor the update using the Endpoints content pane. See Viewing the Endpoints content pane.
