Downloading a firmware image

Firmware images for all FortiProxy units are available on the Fortinet Customer Service & Support website.

To download firmware:

1. Log into the support site with your user name and password.

2. Go to Support > Firmware Download.

   A list of Release Notes is shown. If you have not already done so, download and review the Release Notes for the firmware version that you are upgrading your FortiProxy unit to.

3. In the Select Product dropdown menu, select FortiProxy.
4. On the Download tab, navigate to the FortiProxy firmware file for your FortiProxy model or VM platform in the Image Folders/Files section. .out files are for upgrade or downgrade. .zip and .gz files are for new deployments.
5. Click HTTPS to download the firmware that meets your needs.

Firmware can also be downloaded using FTP, but as FTP is not an encrypted file transferring protocol, HTTPS downloading is recommended.

After you download the firmware, continue with Upgrading individual device firmware.
