Reverse Cache Server

Reverse Cache Server

If you want to use reverse proxy web-caching, you need to configure a reverse cache server. For more information about reverse proxy web caching, see Web-caching topologies.

To see the list of reverse cache servers, go to Web Cache > Reverse Cache Server.

Hover over the leftmost edge of the column heading to display the Configure Table icon, which you can use to select the columns to display or to reset all the columns to their default settings. You can also drag column headings to change their order.

The following options are available:

Create New

Add a new reverse cache server. See Create or edit a reverse cache server.

Edit

Edit the selected reverse cache server. See Create or edit a reverse cache server.

Delete

Delete the selected reverse cache server.

Name

The name of the reverse cache server.

IP

The IP address of the reverse cache server.

Port

The port number that the reverse cache server is using.

Status

The status is Enabled or Disabled.

Ref.

Displays the number of times the object is referenced to other objects.

To view the location of the referenced object, select the number in Ref.; the Object Usage window opens and displays the various locations of the referenced object.
