Add Multiple AWS Accounts

Prerequisites

Make sure the AWS administrator account user you use to perform the tasks below is an Administrator User. For instruction on creating an Administrator User for your AWS administrator account please refer to https://docs.aws.amazon.com/mediapackage/latest/ug/setting-up-create-iam-user.html.

When adding multiple AWS accounts simultaneously, there are some crucial configurations that need to be completed before adding the AWS accounts.

Part 1 - Preliminary Configurations on AWS before CloudFormation

1. Activate Security Token Service (STS)
2. Setup permissions for Stack Sets Operations

Part 2 - Add Accounts through AWS CloudFormation

1. Add Multiple AWS accounts via CloudFormation
2. Create AWS StackSet for Security Hub Integration
