Create Customized Data Scan Policy
Customized Data Scan Policy uses customized data pattern to monitor activities associated with the customized data pattern.
Prerequisite
A Customized Data Pattern need to be created first before the Customized Data Scan Policy can be created.
Steps to Create Customized Data Scan Policy
- From the navigation pane, go to POLICIES > Data Scan > Customized tab.
- Click +Add New to create a customized Data Scan policy. Then a new window will prompt you to enter the parameters.
Name — Only contains decimal digits, lower-case or upper-case alphabetic characters, and spaces. Be sure to use no more than 100 characters .
Apply to account — Choose the account which the policy will be applying to.
Data Pattern — Choose one or more data patterns the policy will be monitoring.
Severity Level — Pick a severity level associated with the policy.
Description— Enter a brief description in less than 200 characters.
Click Add Customized Policy to complete adding the policy; to cancel, click Cancel button.
